Thanks to its texture and caffeine, ground coffee beans are very good for exfoliating skin and reducing cellulite. For the latter, it is highly recommended that you mix the leftover coffee with a little coconut oil and then rub it in a circular way all over the skin. To peel something very similar: Mix coffee with half a tablespoon of olive oil and rub it on the skin for a few minutes. In the end, you just have to rinse it off.
We can reuse coffee to get shinier hair. This is achieved through a solution of coffee and water, as it happens when we want a cup of this drink, which should be cold or at least room temperature. The solution is used after washing the hair and leaving it for twenty minutes. Finally, it is rinsed off.
In addition to avoiding unpleasant odors, coffee also works as an air freshener thanks to the fact that it smells strong, pungent and also pleasant. In this case, we must place the ground coffee within a fiber or porous fabric that allows the coffee aroma to spread throughout the space. Additionally, you can add some essential oils or fruit peels.
Seven Different Varieties Of Coffee Cultivation
In Mexico, mainly Arabica coffee, and to a lesser extent Robusta, is grown almost exclusively in the soluble coffee sector. There are currently around 120 Arabica coffee varieties, but we can highlight the following as the most important:
CRIOLLO: Also known as Typica. Scion of the indigenous cultivar from Africa, the species most adapted to the Mexican terrain, and fortunately, it is one of the best varieties. A tall coffee tree that gives excellent flavor in a mug. Low production, not very resistant to strong winds, it is the best environmental harvester under shade.
BOURBON: tall coffee tree from Reunion Island, formerly called Bourbon. The variety is held in high esteem for being more wind resistant, adaptable to any altitude, and higher-yielding creolla. Its strongest production comes from Chiapas, who brought it from Guatemala
Catura: a short-growing bin tree, native to Brazil, possibly obtained by a mutation in bourbon plants. It provides good performance under management and in suitable agro-environmental conditions. Nice flavor, slightly less creole quality.
CATIMOR: Caturra cross with Timor hybrid, short and anti-coffee rust. Higher performance, more productivity.
Marajujib: tall coffee tree with almost large granules. A mutation of the grains of tepica or Criolla. Low and irregular production, very sensitive to drought.
Mundo Novo: a tall, very strong, and productive tree, native to Brazil. It is the result of a natural cross between Bourbon and Sumatran Typica
ROBUSTA: coffee from Coffea Canéphora that produces coffee with a strong flavor due to its high caffeine content.
